Seth Webb

Managing Director

Seth brings over 18 years experience creating public-private partnerships, directing marketing campaigns, and leading progressive government initiatives to Tusk Ventures clients.

He has worked in the public sector for municipal and state governments and in the private sector representing some of the most recognized media brands in the country.

Most recently he served as the Town Manager of the ski-resort community Killington, Vermont overseeing a $15 million budget and 100+ full and part-time employees. Previously Seth served as a Director of Marketing for Civic Entertainment Group in New York City from 2007-2010 directing over $7 million in public engagement campaigns for national brands including CNN, A&E, The History Channel and I Love NY.

Before New York, Seth served for as Special Assistant to the Governor of Illinois from 2003-2007 managing statewide health care campaigns, economic development programs, and gubernatorial events.

Prior to Illinois, Seth worked in the U.S. Peace Corps as an adviser to a Guatemalan mayor, where he helped open and run a Municipal Planning Office which managed healthcare, water, and small business development projects.

Before moving to Central America, Seth directed the Marketing and Special Events Office for the NYC Parks Department raising over $3 million from corporate sponsors to support park programs and producing major concerts and events in Central Park including Sting Live, Sheryl Crow and Friends and the Dalai Lama’s Public Address.

Seth received a B.A. from Kenyon College in Ohio.
