Patrick Muncie

Patrick brings more than a decade of experience in New York government and politics.

Before joining Tusk, Patrick was the Deputy Director of Communications for Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance, Jr. In this role, he served as a senior adviser to the District Attorney, concentrating on cases related to public corruption, cybercrime, violent criminal enterprises, vehicular crimes, and rackets investigations.

Prior to the District Attorney’s Office, Patrick held several roles in the administration of Mayor Michael Bloomberg, including Deputy Press Secretary in the Mayor’s Office, and Senior Vice President for Public Affairs at the New York City Economic Development Corporation. He guided communications for the establishment of the Cornell Tech campus, the 7-line subway extension, the redevelopment of the Seward Park area, and the growth of the city’s technology sector, among other high-profile projects and initiatives.

Patrick has extensive campaign experience at the state and local levels. In 2010, he was a communications strategist and the Research Director for Andrew Cuomo’s winning gubernatorial campaign. He is also a veteran of Mike Bloomberg’s successful reelection campaigns in 2009 and 2005, and has experience in Texas statewide politics.

Patrick is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He is an avid fan of Cincinnati sports, and has contributed to the Cincinnati Enquirer’s Morning Line sports blog. He lives on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
